i have always wanted a guy best friend. it is one of those crazy things i have always kept inside me throughtout these years. there is something about the idea of having a guy’s being coexisting with mine that really drew me.

it is always good to have that constant someone that you can ask about whatever whereever whenever.
it seems appealing to have that someone who can act as protector [talk about physical harm].
it is pleasing to have someone who can give you the perception of the martians [male].
it seems good to share venusian’s [female's] version of things in this goddamn existence.
it seems interesting to have someone you can practice on on how to mingle with their kind.

these reasons and a lot more.

i know the reasons i gave were vague and too general. they were also not mutually exclusive to guy’s friendship since by girls’ friendship offers those perks, too. and i do get those from my girl friends, me having hundreds of them. frankly, this is because i cannot really put into words the reasons of this battiness. all i know is i want a guy’s real friendship. but if i have to put this bluntly, i’ll say:
it is interesting to have something atypical of what i already have.
the quest is still on.
